BookFest 2024
Wimbledon BookFest’s main festival takes place 17-27 October in central Wimbledon venues – Wimbledon High School, Wimbledon Library and New Wimbledon Theatre.
Pop-up events also take place throughout the year, including our special Spring Events in March.
We are partnering in 2024 with both Kings’s Arts Festival (King’s College School, Wimbledon) and Polka Theatre.

This year’s Festival Big Read will be announced on 7 June 2024.
Last year ran our first ever Merton Big Read – a community-wide reading scheme – in conjunction with Merton Libraries. Our 2023 title was The Last White Man, by the acclaimed Pakistani author Mohsin Hamid.
